Old school Cb radio mod that has a spring mounted on the chassis? - cb parts
There was recently an old CB for Cobra 29 parts.
Inside was a sort of old school mod look, which 2inch a spring mounted on the chassis and a small circuit board is soldered to a few cans of adjustment.
Spring is a 2 long and 1 / 4 "diameter.
I wonder what he's doing.

It is probably a TVI filter add-on.
Most of BC was reduced an adjustable suspension TVI, but just enough - as if the operators of CB was close to a neighbor interference with television, complained that the residents in general
Sounds like a section t pass filter. The capacitors will pass the high-frequency coil and the frequency in the ground. This would help reduce the transmitter output false.
