I am looking for the moving truck to move normally cheaper than the landlord about 1000 miles too.

Although it's not a rental truck, you might consider checking with a 'you pack, we drive' service like ABF U-Pack. When you add gas, sales tax, hotels etc. to your rental truck price, U-Pack usually comes out about the same on a move that is across country, but with this type of service, you don't have to drive. it's www.upack.com.
